Omega Oak Barn
We are pleased to have built up a team of dedicated and caring staff, for whom looking after the residents is more than a vocation.
Our team of care staff have been carefully developed, not only in their professional skills, but also through their caring attitude and their commitment to helping everyone in the Home to live a happy and fulfilling life, ensuring good outcomes are achieved for each individual.
Careful monitoring of our staff to resident ratio, ensures the very best levels of individual attention can be offered at all times, day and night. Many of our staff have worked at the Home for many years, and if most are from the local area they blend well with those from further afield so help provide a real sense of community.
The staff team are led by the Manager Mr Chris Buntin who has many years of experience in the care sector. He is ably assisted by his deputy Tiffany Hunt - again with many years experience in care and a team of senior carers and care staff.
Training is paramount, and all newcomers go through an accredited induction programme, followed by the implementation of a personal training and development strategy, to ensure that our high standards of care are always maintained.
The majority of our care staff, either hold or are undergoing, NVQ 2 / 3 training.
To assist both residents and visitors with easy identification, all of our staff wear a uniform. The tunics or tops are colour coded to delineate grade/job role, to aid recognition. They also wear a name badge, as well as a badge showing attainments in NVQ .
"Can I say how impressed I was with the care that was being given to my father by all the super staff"
